Eligibility Criteria for Listing on the TWINT Giving Portal

Discover the criteria your organisation needs to meet to qualify for onboarding to the TWINT Giving Portal.

First of all, what are the benefits of being listed on the TWINT Giving Portal?

  • TWINT is the n.1 payment app in Switzerland, so you have the potential to reach over 5 millions active TWINT users!
  • Present your organisation to over 300,000 yearly visitors of the TWINT Giving Portal and enable them to support you through the most convenient digital giving experience
  • You can benefit from great additional fundraising possibilities such as regular (monthly) donations and targeted campaigns to extend your reach.

Are you interested in showcasing your organisation on the portal? Fantastic! To get started, ensure your organisation meets the following criteria:

What are the eligibility criteria?

1. Active Weunity Listing Package:
    • Either directly via Weunity or as part of the RaiseNow Growth contract. For RaiseNow Growth Customers the listing is inlcuded.
2. Swiss Non-Profit Status
    • Your organisation must be a tax-exempt non-profit based in Switzerland.
3. Non-Political Focus
    • Your organisation must not be a political party or mainly focused on political campaigning.
4. TWINT as a Donation Method
    • You must offer TWINT as a payment method for donations on your website.
5. ZEWO Certification or Equivalent
    • If your organisation is ZEWO certified, great! If not, you must meet the following additional criteria:
      • Established Track Record: Your organisation has been operational for more than two years.
      • Transparency: Annual reports for the last two years are publicly available on your website and include your yearly financial reports
      • Governance Disclosure: A complete list of your board of trustees is published on your website.
6. RaiseNow account:
    • Payment processing is handled via RaiseNow. Your organization will need either a free RaiseNow Free account or a RaiseNow Growth account.

How do I initiate the onboarding process?

If your organisation meets all the criteria and you would like to have it listed on the TWINT Giving Portal, contact support@weunity.com to initiate the onboarding process. Please note that meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an onboarding, as all applications are subject to a final evaluation.
