Image Requirements for TWINT Spotlight Campaigns

Are you preparing a Spotlight campaign? Here you’ll find all the important image guidelines.

Image Selection

TWINT Spotlight campaigns follow our general image guidelines, along with additional requirements described below.

  • The imagery should be positive and respectful – no depictions of suffering, injured, or deeply distressed individuals, especially children.
  • Visuals should authentically and credibly support the campaign’s message without relying on pity.

You can find further recommendations here for impactful images that support your campaign’s success.

Special Guidelines for the Portrayal of Children

The portrayal of children requires particular sensitivity. To protect their rights and dignity, the following requirements must be met:

  • Clear donation context: It must be immediately apparent why children are shown and what kind of support your organisation provides.
Gentle portrayal: If possible, the child’s face should not be the main focus – for example, use side or rear views or intentionally blurred images.
  • Illustrations instead of photos: High-quality illustrations perform just as well as photos in Spotlight campaigns.

All campaign images for Spotlight campaigns are reviewed in advance by Weunity. Weunity reserves the right to reject images that do not meet the guidelines or do not match the TWINT Spotlight style.

Image Design Requirements

  • Image size: at least 1128 × 512 pixels
  • Image composition: Key elements should be centered and placed with sufficient distance from the image edges
  • Our general image guidelines also apply
